So we're sitting in the kitch of A's apt., looking into the EuroStar debacle that has shook up everybody's lives from Bristol to Brussels (and back again). I feel bad for poor Richard Brown, CBE, the exec of the company, who's under some serious fire for the failing of the nearly 100,400 trains England has hurled in the general direction of Paris, in hopes that 'this one won't break like the rest'. We'll receive about a gazillion dollars in compensation, as well as free tickets back to the Kingdom United. So, in the words of our poet laureate back home, 'ballin''!
Bruge was totally cool, as one would expect. We got to fondle a weird, gold-plated vial of blood and water Joseph of Arimathea wiped off Jesus after he was taken off the cross, we got to throw snowballs at each other outside of a big church, saw a guy playing a violin-trumpet (strangely, someone actually put a video of the same guy on YouTube (here's another); he played all the same songs too), and crossed various idyllic bridges over skinny little rivers.
Bed is in order now.
ALRIGHT COOL
Caleb
